Trask Construction is a dynamic construction company specializing in, residential, commercial, industrial and agricultural projects. Our team values safety, efficiency, and professionalism, and we’re looking for a skilled Construction Operator to join our growing workforce.

This position involves operating heavy machinery and performing various labor tasks essential to our projects. The ideal candidate will possess a robust mechanical aptitude and experience in heavy equipment operation, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and safely.

Duties

- Safely operate dump trucks and/or flatbeds to transport materials, tools, and machinery
- Perform daily pre-trip inspections and maintain vehicle cleanliness
- Assist with site preparation, material handling, and cleanup
- Load/unload materials and equipment as needed
- Follow all safety protocols and company procedures
- Support the crew with manual labour tasks when not driving
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications





- Proven experience as a Dump truck driver or in a similar role.
- Experience in commercial driving is preferred.
- Proficient in operating various construction equipment (e.g., excavators, loaders, bulldozers) is an asset.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Ability to work independently and with others.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks and operate machinery for extended periods.
- Strong knowledge of construction site safety standards.
- A valid DZ driver's license is required.
- Valid AZ license an asset
- heavy equipment operator, WHIMIS, Common Core, DZ drivers license are assets.

Job Type: Seasonal Pay: $19.00-$30.00 per hour
