This job is full-time permanent .Key ResponsibilitiesEnsures all instrumentation maintenance work orders and jobs are wellplanned, all site and regulatory safety policies and procedures followed, trades identified, orservices (scaffolding, non-destructive testing, motor removal, motorhandover, etc), materials/tools prepared, and duration of tasks accuratelyand realistically defined and included on the work order.Inspects problem areas requiring repair work to determine what's wrong,location, access issues, criticality,



and whether the expertise to completerepairs exists internally or if outside assistance is required.Ensures all required documentation is complete and up to date in theSAP system and any manual systems, ensures all files are updated asneeded, and distributes documentation as required.Identifies opportunities to improve work through maintenance effectiveness / systems, equipment upgrades, and application of newtechnology.Ensures that the work order contains a proper description or that aprepared file is linked to the work orderInforms operations superintendent of the operations specific requirements for carrying out a job (cleaning, positioning of equipment, etc)Skills and QualificationsTrade ticket or post-secondary degree/diploma in the instrumentation field or equivalent work experienceExperience in estimating and planning work projectsDemonstrated ability to write and provide simple, accurate instructionsDemonstrated ability to read standard blueprints, machine & process drawings and have the ability to sketch or redline existing drawingsExperience managing multiple priorities and projects simultaneouslyGood organization, planning, math, computer, and communication skillsDomtar is firmly committed to placing greater emphasis on the principles of equity, diversity and inclusion to empower all employees to reach their full potential.
