We are seeking a motivated and practical Geotechnical / Civil Field Engineer to support ongoing construction and geotechnical projects throughout Western Canada on a contract basis. This is a field-based position requiring regular travel and extended periods on active construction sites. The successful candidate will report directly to the Principal Geotechnical Engineer, Design Build Services, and work closely with contractors, project managers, and clients to support the successful delivery of design-build and construction projects. Project locations include Alberta and British Columbia, but may extend to other regions as required.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform on-site constructability reviews during construction activitiesConduct field inspections and quality assurance / quality control (QA/QC) activities for geotechnical and civil worksCoordinate and oversee testing and verification of geotechnical systems and installationsMonitor construction activities to ensure compliance with project specifications, drawings, and design intentPrepare field reports, inspection records, testing documentation, and daily summariesCommunicate directly with clients, contractors, suppliers, and project stakeholdersIdentify field issues and assist in developing practical construction solutionsSupport project planning, execution, and close-out activitiesParticipate in site meetings and provide technical support during constructionMaintain a solid commitment to health, safety, and environmental requirementsRequirementsDegree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related disciplineMinimum 3 years of experience in construction oversight, field engineering, geotechnical inspection,
