Trades Helper (UNIFOR TEC Maintenance & Skilled Trades)Job Category: Property OperationsRequisition Number: TRADE003470Posted : September 14, 2026Full-TimeLocationsShowing 1 locationDescriptionRole Impact:To assist the Skilled Trades employees in the CF Toronto Eaton Centre Complex.What you will deliver:Plumbing: Bathroom inspection, sump pumps pits inspection, plunger functionsElectrical: Cleaning closets electrical + mechanical, breaker reset, runner + safety activities (ladder)Mechanical: Equipment greasing, equipment inspection (belt, leaks), filter replacement, runner + safety activities (ladder)Assist all Trades to respond and complete all work as per daily business needsGeneral inspectionsRespond and complete all relevant work ordersAssist Operations staff in cases of emergenciesContractors/Consultants escorts as requiredLiaise with operations staff and supervisorsOther duties as assigned by the SupervisorWhat you need to succeed:Grade 12 education or equivalentAbility to work from ladders, swing stage and skyjackAbility to work with minimum supervisionAbility to liaise with tenantsAbility to work in electrical, plumbing, millwright support functionsTeam playerBasic knowledge of toolsMechanically motivatedAbility to work rotational shifts (day, evening, and night) as requiredThis is a unionized position and pay rates are set out in the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
