Electrical Site Foreman – 6-Month Contract

Entity Mechanical Ltd. is looking for an experienced Electrical Site Foreman to lead the electrical scope of work on our Canada Parks Agency project in the Lake Louise, Yoho & Kootenay Field Unit.

This is a six-month contract position, with the potential to continue on a month-to-month basis depending on project requirements and future work with Entity.

We are looking for a strong, hands-on Journeyperson Electrician who can take ownership of the day-to-day electrical work on site, lead the crew, coordinate with our Project Manager and other trades, and keep the project moving safely and efficiently.

What You'll Be Doing

As the Electrical Site Foreman, you will be responsible for the day-to-day execution of the electrical scope, including:

- Leading and supervising electricians and apprentices on site
- Planning daily and weekly work and coordinating manpower
- Working alongside the crew as required
- Reviewing drawings, specifications and project requirements
- Coordinating electrical work with mechanical and other trades
- Monitoring project schedule, productivity and material requirements
- Ordering and coordinating materials with the Project Manager
- Identifying changes in scope and communicating potential change orders
- Maintaining quality control and ensuring work meets project specifications
- Ensuring electrical work complies with applicable codes and standards
- Maintaining a safe, organized and professional jobsite
- Completing required site and safety documentation
- Tracking progress and communicating issues or delays promptly
- Submitting weekly progress reports to the Project Manager
- Attending site and coordination meetings as required
- Assisting with deficiencies, commissioning and project closeout

What We're Looking For
- Red Seal Journeyperson Electrician
- Previous experience as an Electrical Foreman, Lead Hand or senior electrician
- Robust commercial electrical experience




- Experience working on institutional, government, school, hospital or similar commercial projects is an asset
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications
- Strong understanding of electrical codes and safe work practices
- Comfortable supervising and directing a small electrical crew
- Organized and able to stay on top of materials, schedules and documentation
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with Project Managers, other trades and site representatives
- Comfortable using a phone, tablet or computer for project communication and reporting
- Valid driver's licence

The Position
- Position: Electrical Site Foreman
- Term: 6-month contract, with potential month-to-month continuation
- Project: Canada Parks Agency – Lake Louise, Yoho & Kootenay Field Unit
- Schedule: Full-time, approximately 40 hours per week, with overtime as project requirements dictate
- Start Date: As soon as possible / to be determined
- Compensation: Competitive hourly rate based on experience
- Travel arrangements and applicable travel time/allowances will be discussed as part of the employment offer.
