This posting is in anticipation of current and future part-time teaching opportunities this academic year. Reporting to the Associate Dean, in the school of Applied Sciences, Skills and Technology, the incumbent facilitates the delivery of the Millwright Apprenticeship program. The incumbent will incorporate a variety of teaching, learning and assessment strategies that are designed to meet the needs of learners.Teaches the course using best practices and adult education principlesBuilds on developments syllabus and course material, based on the course outline and the existing teaching materials, which becomes part of the course teaching material used by future facultyEnsures that course curricula are current, relevant, and reflective of best practices within the relevant qualified/program disciplinesCreates an effective environment for learning which accommodates students' diverse cultural and educational backgrounds, experiences, and individual learning stylesDevelops and implements course learning outcomes and alternative delivery strategies, ensuring that they support and reflect program goalsAssures that students are aware of all relevant learning outcomes, learning strategies and assessment techniquesAssesses student achievement of learning outcomes and supports student progress through individual tutoring, academic counselling,
