Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Experienced Commercial Roofer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining commercial roofing systems on a variety of large-scale buildings. Your expertise will ensure that roofs are durable, weather-resistant, and compliant with safety standards.

Responsibilities

- Install, repair, and replace commercial roofing systems using a variety of materials such as membrane, metal, and built-up roofing.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and project specifications to ensure precise execution of roofing projects.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to cut, shape, and secure roofing components.
- Perform heavy lifting of roofing materials and equipment safely to facilitate efficient installation processes.
- Apply caulking and sealants to joints, seams, and flashing to prevent leaks and enhance weatherproofing.
- Conduct inspections during and after installation to ensure quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.
- Collaborate with team members, project managers,



and clients to coordinate project timelines and address on-site challenges promptly.

Requirements

- Proven experience as a commercial roofer or in a related construction role with a focus on roofing projects.
- Solid knowledge of construction practices, carpentry skills, and blueprint reading abilities.
- Proficiency in using hand tools such as hammers, screwdrivers, utility knives, and caulking guns.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely for extended periods during installation or repair tasks.
- Experience with caulking techniques for sealing joints and seams effectively.
- Handyman experience is a plus, demonstrating versatility across various building trades.
- Valid construction experience with an emphasis on safety protocols in high-elevation work environments.
