Responsibilities and Duties

MAIN DUTIES: MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE AS A DRILLER'S HELPER

- Help the driller load and unload the rig in the morning/afternoon for that day's job.
- Be able to easily lift 50 lbs
- Follow direction well of the driller and work long hours for the day.
- Float a rig to site and back, if you have a DZ. If not, G license is a must.
- Also responsible for helping maintain a clean and well-organized repair shop, re-stocking drilling inventory, coordinating with the Shop Manager and Office Manager to ensure required materials for daily operations are kept in sufficient supply.
- Communicate with shop mechanics current state of materials that appear in disrepair and requiring service.

EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS:

- This is a hands-on job, requiring an individual with a working knowledge of tools.




- Equipment and materials related to this company are heavy and will require the use of proper lifting technique.
- A valid G license IS A MUST, & clean abstract
- General computer knowledge an asset.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

- Perform physical labor in all sorts of weather, wearing protective equipment.
- Lift and handle heavy equipment associated with the job.
- Some noise and vibration may require the use of ear plugs and other related safety devices.
- The number of working hours depends on the completion times, minimum 40 hours per week. The hours may be irregular because of job requirements.
- Safety training will be provided.

Benefits after 3 months, competitive wages based on experience Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 50.0 per week
