Check out northwest.Ca for more information.In your role as a Tax Associate, you will provide advice and support related to the payment and reporting of income taxes, and the completion of tax returns and other tax-related documents.Your Role:Prepare and review personal income tax returns in a timely mannerAssign tax returns to tax preparers in a timely mannerAnswer tax inquiries over the phone, email, and fax from internal and external customersReview and process documentation to support tax return filingsApply defined practices, procedures, and company policies to troubleshoot and resolve product and tax support customer inquiriesAdministrative related tasksQualifications, Required Skills, & Experience:Experience preparing personal income tax returns. Experience with Northern Residents Deduction, Northern Residents Travel Deduction, Status Indians, and experience in Quebec tax return preparation an assetFormal tax training with at least one year of experience working in tax preparation officeActive CRA My Account and Rep IDBusiness Accountancy Diploma or Accounting Degree,



and/or appropriate professional experienceProficiency using tax preparation's software programs.
