Ensure that the machine assembly processes are effective and efficient.ResponsibilitiesFollow electrical drawings and schematics as well as assembly instruction sheets, or receives verbal instructions regarding duties to be performedUse equipment and hand and power tools to accomplish assembly tasksPlan and layout assembly sequence and procedures for specified partsAssemble components and subassembliesPractice safe and proper electrical proceduresReport all electrical or design errors to supervisor so that the problems can be addressedMaintain good work habits and demonstrate valuable work ethicPerform other duties or temporary jobs as may be assigned due to changing workloads and manpower requirementsPerform inspections of assemblies and subassemblies during the building of the machines,



and a complete inspection of the machines prior to commissioningEstablish a safe working environment by following the companies guidelines with regard to the secure use of lock out procedures and proper start up proceduresJob RequirementsTechnical Degree and/or Demonstrate related equivalent experience in machine assemblyHighly motivated and self-directedAbility to work with minimal supervision and have excellent time management skillsDetail oriented and can be counted on to meet and exceed goals successfullyGood computer skills and knowledge of technologyExcellent problem solving and good communication skillsAble to work independently and as part of a teamMust be able to operate I all areas of the plant as well as shop floor environment and around machineryAbility to climb, walk, and light lift etc.Able to work overtime shifts as requiredDavis-Standard Company is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to providing a workplace free from harassment and discrimination.
