Priority Patient Transfer is hiring 1 Full-Time Patient Transfer Attendants for our Ottawa, ON Location.Your RoleYou are responsible for the safe transport of patients via stretcher/wheelchair to/from a healthcare facility, nursing home, or private residenceYou can provide outstanding customer serviceYou have excellent communication skillsRequirementsYour ProfileYou must possess the following qualifications:You have a valid First Responder Certification OR Advanced Emergency Medical Care Assistant Certification OR are working towards a Paramedic Diploma (must be finished year 1) OR are a Fire Fighter with Emergency Medical Responder Certification (please note, we provide training for First Responder if needed)You have a Valid BLS Certification (please note, we provide BLS training if needed)You possess a valid G class driving licenseYou have the ability to lift 250+ lbs. using a stretcher or stair chair with partnerYou can effectively communicate in both verbal and written EnglishYou are a protected driver with a clean driving recordYou can obtain a clean criminal record search with vulnerable sector screeningYou have up to date immunization records and can provide the following records of: MMR, DPT, Polio, Varicella, Hepatitis B, COVID-19 (2 doses), TB Skin Test (Step 1)
