This program provides safe, temporary housing and wraparound supports that enable men to engage in therapeutic interventions and take responsibility for their behaviour.The Coordinator will support the oversight of the day-to-day operations of Shenn Way House, including client care, case management, and staff supervision. They will assist their team in the onsite delivery of services, in a multi-disciplinary team environment. They will assist clients in meeting their needs and short-term goals. The Coordinator will be working in partnership with Edmonton Police Service, Child & Family Services, and other community partners with the overall goals of client, staff and community safety.The Coordinator will play a supportive role in program and policy implementation. As a Coordinator, you will assist in the monitoring of operational and evaluative aspects of the program and fulfill the supervision requirements of direct reports.Responsibilities:Under the direction of the Team Lead of Shenn Way House,



the Coordinator will be responsible for:AdministrationReview and approve monthly time balances and semimonthly payroll for staffEnsure accurate record keeping and databasesParticipate in afterhours on-call rotation schedule as requiredEnsure expenditures are made within the limits of the established program budgetsMaintain timely expense reporting and documentation of sameEnsure processing and submission of invoices as requiredPolicyContribute to program level policies and practices and compliance of sameSupport the application of program level policy through a client-centered lensSupport the delivery of client services in compliance with program, funder, and agency policiesSupport risk management including client and staff safety, confidentiality, duty of care, and mandatory reporting according to relevant legislationHuman ResourcesSupport effective recruitment, retention, and termination of program staffImplement and monitor supervisory standards within the programFulfill acting roles as defined and as necessary including front-line rolesEnsure core training for staff is maintained and identify supplemental training opportunitiesPhilosophyEnsure agency and division level philosophy is embedded into program service deliveryEducate stakeholders, the general public, the community and others, as applicable, about the ProgramParticipate in Leadership Team meetings and activitiesRemain current with philosophical shifts within the community of practiceStrategic DirectionAssist with the development and implementation of agency strategic direction through the contribution of innovative ideas, concepts, and goalsBuild and maintain positive relationships with actual and potential partners/collaborators, neighbors, the community, and project funding representativesQuality ImprovementAssist agency leadership to develop and maintain accurate program level logic models, data collection tools (including client/stakeholder feedback)
