The ESA is responsible to perform their duties in a manner that supports and implements the policies, procedures, routines, values, goals and objectives of the Environmental Services Department and Providence Care, including goals for high quality services and a positive work environment .Skills and Qualification Required:High School Diploma (or grade 12 equivalency)Basic knowledge of industrial/commercial cleaning procedures and understanding of the hospital environment and cleaning requirements and standardsMinimum six months of recent related experience working in similar sanitation/cleaning role; experience in healthcare environment, preferredDemonstrated basic computer knowledge including Microsoft Office Suite of products, including Word, Excel, Outlook and Internet (i.E. Internet Explorer)Position Responsibilities:General Duties - Collecting/disposing of waste, including separating recyclable materials and disposal of biomedical waste; distribution of clean linen and collection of solid linen; operation of heavy dutycleaning equipmentDaily Duties - Damp-dusting, spot cleaning of walls/windows, dust and damp mopping of floors, vacuuming, waste removal, washroom cleaning and cleaning of isolation roomsThorough Cleaning Routines - High-dusting, comprehensive damp-dusting and floor cleaning,
