As a Senior Technician - Security Systems with Bosch Building Technologies, you will collaboratively review, understand, analyze, and implement installation blueprints and plans from Project Managers and Sales Teams to complete installations.This role requires the ability and know how to properly complete the installation, understand and follow the BOM, and be capable of making adjustments or finding alternative solutions as needed to complete installations to client satisfaction.ResponsibilitiesInstalling and servicing electronic security systems, including access control, CCTV and intrusion alarmsPre-wiring, installing, programming, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenancePrepares and executes Acceptance Testing Plans that meet contract, client and future service needsAssist in system design and layoutProvide customer with training for proper system usage, and respond to technical inquiriesRelationship building with clients and prospects for future opportunitiesAdministrative duties including project updates to Project Managers, completing and filing all project documentationPerform other tasks as requiredSupport, lead, and mentor team membersDesign systems and layoutLead projects at a site levelMaintain a high level of safety and professionalismManage a team of junior technicians as necessaryWork at required heights utilizing ladders, scaffolding, lifts, or otherWork in confined spaces as necessaryRequired Qualifications5+ years experience in a technical role within the integrated security industryPostsecondary training in electronics or equivalent is considered an assetExcellent written and verbal communication skillsValid Driver's License with clean abstractAbility to use hand and specialty tools associated with the industryAbility to lift 50lbs consistentlyAble to work independentlyNight shift 5pm - 12am may be requiredStrong interpersonal skillsSuccess FactorsAdaptability: Quickly adapt to deliver on desired outcomes for our clientsAccountability: Own your work from start to finishService Orientation:
