Further information is available at www.Bgis.ComSUMMARYThe Strategic Sourcing Specialist is responsible for collaborating with Strategic Sourcing Managers on a multitude of Sourcing projects ranging from RFXs, contract management reviews and other supply chain management initiatives. Key activities include but are not limited to client account group interviews, advanced financial analysis and the modeling of proposals in the creation of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint communication summaries.KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESStrategic Planning & DeliveryRequires strong stakeholder management capabilities in order to understand business requirementsDevelops and recommends advanced and complex strategic plans for Manager reviewImplements strategic plansDevelops and recommends sourcing strategies that maximize value and mitigate risks to the company and its clients.Implements sourcing strategyReviews and measures the effectiveness of the strategyLeads and performs opportunities assessment activities and drives leverage across client accountsAchieves improvements in operational efficiencies and cost savings as a resultCompetitive BidsExecutes end-to-end competitive bid process for strategic plansNegotiates with suppliers to secure optimum cost and maximum valueSupplier Performance Measurement & ManagementIdentifies and implements performance metrics to measure and take action to improve supplier performanceMeasures and manages supplier performanceResponsible for supplier performance for assigned categories and reports on supplier sustainabilityDevelops and maintains effective relationships with suppliersNegotiates, develops, implements, amends and monitors supplier contractual agreementsStrategic Sourcing Best Practices & Industry TrendsMaintains in-depth and current category knowledge as well as knowledge of strategic sourcing best practices and industry trendsProvides category and strategic sourcing subject matter expertise for complex categories and / or geographic areas.Develop and maintain benchmarking activity for assigned categoriesPerform Anti-Bribery and Corruption due diligenceSupportDevelops maintains standard templates for strategic sourcing documentations including but not limited to RFx templates, contract agreements, scopes of work, service level agreements, and letters of agreementsEnsure adherence to Company Policies, Processes and Work InstructionsPrepares reports including but not limited to Purchase Order summary reportsInteract with Operational and Finance team members to meet monthly requirements.Support Sourcing team members as required.OtherSpecial projects and other duties as assignedKNOWLEDGE & SKILLSUniversity graduation or professional certificationMinimum 3-5 years' experience in Strategic Sourcing fieldKnowledge of strategic sourcing requirements and practices. Maintains current knowledgeAbility to develop and execute category management strategies and plansAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyAbility to develop and execute supplier contract agreementsAdvanced analytical and problem solving skillsComputer proficiency in MS Office applications.
