Responsibilities

- Install, repair, and maintain exterior siding using a variety of materials including vinyl, fiber cement, wood, and metal
- Use hand tools such as hammers, screwdrivers, chisels, and saws to execute exact cuts and fittings
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation according to specifications
- Perform caulking around windows, doors, and seams to ensure weatherproofing and energy efficiency
- Lift heavy siding panels and related materials safely while following proper ergonomic practices
- Conduct site inspections to verify quality standards and identify any issues needing correction
- Collaborate with project managers, carpenters,



and other trades to coordinate work flow and meet project deadlines

Qualifications

- Proven experience with construction or carpentry work, particularly in exterior finishing or siding installation
- Skilled in the use of hand tools and power tools common to siding projects
- Ability to read blueprints, technical instructions, and safety guidelines accurately
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to perform heavy lifting and work at heights when necessary
- Knowledge of caulking techniques for weatherproofing exterior surfaces
- Handyman experience or general construction background is highly desirable
- Valid experience reading construction plans and understanding building codes related to exterior envelope systems
