They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.What you'll do:Maintain a clean work environmentAssistother claclassifications/trades asrequiredPerform general building maintenance/repairs (e.G., lighting, door repairs.



etc.)Pump teardown/minor repairs/alignmentAir balancingConduct generator testsEscalate unusual events/occurrences to supervisorWork in compliance with Occupational Health and Safety Act and other applicable codesConduct chemical treatment testsComplete maintenance of metal/plastic pipe systemsParticipate in review of operating policies/procedures asrequiredMonitor work of contractors/external service providers to ensure adherence to company/industry standardsTroubleshoot/repair building automation systemComplete general mechanical/maintenance dutiesMaintain/align fan/air handling unitsComplete belt inspection/replacementPerform minor repairs: replace washers/faucets; clear sinks, toilets and drains; clear grease traps/sumps; re-pack valves; replace pumps/motors; reset breakers, etc.Complete filter changesEnsuring maximum energy efficiency, inspect/operate/maintain and repair mechanical/electrical systems and equipment (including boilers, chillers, HVAC equipment, pumps, generators, life safety system, etc.)Start-up/shutdown major building equipmentComplete preventive/demand maintenance tasks; input histories ifrequiredReview and complete daily entries into engineer's logPerform daily rounds and log readingsRespond to tenant requests and emergencies
