The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a collaborative environment. You will be responsible for managing client relationships, processing policy changes, and ensuring superior service delivery in alignment with company values and standards.On top of base salary, this role is also eligible to receive commissions on the book of business that they service.What Will You Spend Your Days Doing?Quote and drive new business, following the Miller Insurance new business procedureProvides advice to clients on insurance matters,productsand coveragesCompletes andsubmitsapplications withtimelyfollow up to ensure quotations and policies are received, and where possible, acceptedConsistently completes and reviews coverage,identifyingadditionalcoverage and cross-sale opportunities, with existing clients well in advance of renewal dates, in support of longer-term client retentionPrepares summaries ofinsurance, andrelated schedules and proposals, ensuring a highly professional client presentation as neededProcesses changes with follow up on policy change requests from clientsHandles customer inquiries throughappropriate communications approaches, aimed at building trust,



and ensuring that the customer always feels highly valuedAssistclients insubmittingfirst reports of a claim,facilitatinga prompt andappropriate response, following up on the claim's status, and keeping the client informed according to Miller Insurance proceduresDeterminesreasons for requests for cancellations; acts to save accountsEnsures all policies issued are compliant, according to applicable insurer and regulatory requirements, and Miller Insurance procedural guidelines and documented requirementsInput, or ensure proper submission for input,accuratefiledocumentationand sufficient notes in the BMS (EPIC), per Miller Insurance standardsComply withall Miller Insurance procedural standards for new business, policy changes and cancellations, reducing errors and omissions risk in the processManages day-to-day workflow, settingappropriate prioritiesto deliver thetimelyandaccurateprocessing of transactions and related responsibilities, infurtherance ofdelivering excellent customer serviceKeeps informedregardingindustry information, Miller Insurance adopted recent product and coverage details, relevant insurance related legislation, and in-use technological applications to continuously improve knowledge and professional performanceQualificationsRIBO License or OTL is an assetMinimum1 yearPersonal Lines Broker experience,
