Brandt is currently seeking an Outside Parts & Service Representative for our Whitby Peterbilt location.This is an outside sales position responsible for promoting and selling truck & transport parts and service, as well as providing after sales support to new and existing customers.Duties & ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers with the goal of increasing sales and customer satisfactionAssist the Parts & Service departments to increase profitability and performanceRegularly prospect and cold call new accounts to discuss new promotions and programsImplement yearly territory plan including a customer target list to maximize sales potentialVisit customers in Area of Responsibility (AOR); a minimum of 1 visit per monthKeep customers current on new products and servicesDevelop prospective customers with a goal of 2 per monthFollow-up with customers on unit and machine performanceMaintain and utilize the database records related to each customer including sales meetings, opportunities, quotes, notes,



and any other documentation as requiredWork cooperatively with management to meet and maximize budget goals and expand customer base by presenting and implementing recent marketing strategiesGather competitive product and pricing information and supply to managementParticipate in all required training and development opportunitiesFollow up on customer concerns and communicate effectively to the appropriate Management TeamMaintain cleanliness, scheduled maintenance, and inventory for the company vehicleOther duties as assignedRequired Experience2 - 3 years previous of sales experience in a similar role, or in a Parts or Service DepartmentJourneyman ticket/Red Seal in Parts or Service is considered an assetValid Driver's License and clean driver's abstract will be requiredRequired SkillsExemplary customer service skillsKnowledge of truck & transport parts, operations, and industryDemonstrates a positive and professional attitude towards internal and external situationsStrong time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlinesAbility to work independently and as part of a teamAbility to work flexible hoursRequires travel within assigned territories with the potential of returning home most nights
