DescriptionWe are looking for a compassionate and team-oriented bilingual Mental Health Professional to join our Adult Counseling Team providing individual and group counseling services to adult survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. The ideal candidate would have training and experience in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and/or Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT). The schedule for this position requires Saturdays and at least two evenings per week or three evenings per week to meet the needs of the individuals we serve.Reports to: Adult Clinical Services CoordinatorSupervises: Assigned Interns and VolunteersPrimary Functions:Prepare and maintain a service plan with each clientProvide individual and group counseling services to adult survivors of domestic violence and sexual assaultEnsure appropriate and current information and referrals are given to clientsMaintain client files and records with confidentiality and accurate and complete documentationCollect and report statistical data reflecting the services providedMaintain relationships with community agenciesParticipate in DCFOF staff and education meetings as requestedProvide clinical supervision of counseling interns as assignedThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed by staff assigned to this position.
