with 1 hour response timeResponsible for all winter snow clearing and related activities as assigned by Crew Leaders and SupervisorsAssisting teammates to efficiently clear large areasClearing snow using tools like snowblowers, shovels, and rakesSalting and de-icing sidewalks, stairs, driveways, and entrancesMarking safety hazards on clients' properties with appropriate signageHeavy lifting is a requirement and a key part of the jobSafe handling of gasoline, oils, diesel fuels, grease and other equipment related fluids etc.Shop work, vehicle and equipment maintenance activities as assignedWillingness to work in all types of weather and at irregular timesWorking Conditions:Employees will be asked to work in mild to very cold weather conditions. This may include icy roads and stormy skiesIn all seasons, employees need to be prepared to be asked to work in rainy conditions and to bring appropriate gear such as rain jacketsCrew members can expect to occasionally be exposed to chemicals such as gasoline and lubricantsPhysical Requirements:Strength GuidelinesCan expect to be asked to lift up to 50 lbs.Motion Parameters:Crew members can expect to be on their feet for long periods of time.
