The Double Leaf Brake Operator is a full time position reporting to the Metals Production Manager. This position will be based out of our Manufacturing Facility (located at 2365 192 Street Surrey, BC).A Day In The LifeWith Safety as the primary focus, operate a large footprint double folder and other associated accessories such as loaders, slitter, and decoilerWork with programmer to set up tooling and work offsets to help modify and standardize program parameters as requiredStrong understanding of folding systems and related material handling equipmentSrong understanding of sheet metal and finish types for process requirementsAbility to work within standardised, program‐driven production environmentsProven capability to diagnose process issues and communicate clearly with programming and maintenance teamsDemonstrated commitment to quality, repeatability, and safe operation in a high‐throughput environmentWillingness to contribute to continuous improvement, documentation, and operator trainingUnderstanding of CNC‐controlled folding systems, not just manual brake operationAbility to work within parametric or rule‐based programsComfort identifying issues across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and control layersExperience working with machine HMI interfaces, diagnostics screens, and alarm statesUnderstanding of process capability, repeatability, and tolerance stack‐upFamiliarity with standard work, setup sheets, or documented operating envelopesProficiency using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, angle gauges, bend testers)Willingness to support continuous improvement initiativesWhat We Are Seeking5+ years of experience as a primary operator of CNC press brakes and accessories along with knowledge of custom flashings, panels,
