If this sounds like a culture you would like to work in, you are invited to apply for this role.OverviewWe have an exciting contract opportunity to join our global EPC client as a Lead Cost Control.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement a project controls plan as part of the Project Execution Plan (PEP) for the project executionPlan and organize the setup of project baseline in Fluor's project controls system, and implement a plan to track against the baseline on a regular basisDevelop cost, schedule, and commercial baselineResponsible for providing technical and administrative direction, coordination, evaluation, training, and coaching to a team of Project Controls specialistsAnalyze variances in cost and schedule performance against the plan, and communicate the reasons for the issuance of variance and proposed mitigation plans to Project ManagementSupervise the implementation of Work Breakdown and Project Coding Structures for control and integrity of work to be performed as defined by the contractSupervise and manage the change management processManage the review of Project Profit/Risk Analysis with management and provide status reportingLead the proposal efforts for cost/scheduling activitiesInterpret contract conditions to ensure complianceDevelop and deliver training programs in Project Controls systems and methodsMaintain familiarity with the functionality of Fluor's automated cost management system and planning and scheduling systemProvide meaningful, accurate historical dataLead the project control teamParticipate in the development and implementation of training courses and mentoring of Project Controls personnelMay fill the role of office Subject Matter Expert (SME) for a specific task or range of tasksServe as a Project Controls Manager on a Project or in a Lead Cost or Schedule position on a projectCoordinate internal and external auditsAnalyze and make independent recommendations regarding solutions to problems with varying complexity in accordance with organization and/or project objectives and guidelinesOrganize and prioritize a variety of projects and multiple tasks in an effective and timely manner, set priorities, and meet deadlinesPlan and organize own work assignments, as well as carry out tasks from management staffMaintain compliance with all applicable policies, procedures, and global standardsAdhere to and support Fluor's Health, Safety & Environmental and Sustainability PoliciesEffectively develop and apply the Core Skills to the jobMay need to travel to attend to business related mattersMeet expectations on attendance and punctualityOther duties as assignedQualificationsAccredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study and fifteen (15)
