Whitehills Childcare Association is a non-profit organization committed to providing high-quality childcare services, including licensed child care centres, before- and after-school, and full-day school-age programs for children aged 3 months to 12 years in North-West London and surrounding Middlesex County. In addition, we are the lead agency of Family Centre Fox Hollow, where we work with community partners to deliver coordinated programs and services for children, families, and youth.

Summary

Positions: ASAP to February 26th, 2027

We are seeking 2 passionate, nurturing RECEs/ECE Apprentices or other qualified candidates with relevant experience to join our preschool classrooms at our Northwest and Wilfrid Jury Childcare locations.

Wilfrid Jury -950 Lawson Rd. London ON N6G3M2

Northwest -2770 Buroak Dr., London ON N6G5B6

Hours: 40 hours per week

Schedule: Monday to Friday, rotating shifts between the hours of 7:15 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. (operating hours)

Responsibilities

- Provide attentive and compassionate care for children in a safe environment.




- Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote learning and development.
- Support children's social, emotional, and physical needs through engaging play and interaction.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and well-being.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating classroom environment.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure the highest quality of care is provided.

Requirements

- Experience in early childhood education.
- Strong caregiving skills with a focus on child development.
- Ability to create a positive learning atmosphere for children.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with children, parents, and colleagues.

Knowledge/experience working with children with disabilities is an asset.
