Plant Maintenance WorkerTomlinson Environmental Services is seeking to hire a Plant Maintenance Worker for our Bantree Reclamation Facility. This position will require working Monday – Friday from 6:00AM to 3:00PM.Vacancy Type: NewLocation: Ottawa, ONDUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESEnsure daily start-up and shut-down checklists are completed.Safe and effective centrifuge operation.Monitor hardness levels in the processing tank.Document and execute all plant maintenance safely and efficientlyAnticipate and prevent facility downtime.Maintain good housekeeping in and around the facility.Identify, document, and eliminate potential risks and hazards.Daily boiler blowdowns/maintenance.Physically demanding at times,



involves lifting various objectsMust be able to work alone and be self-motivatedBasic understanding of pumping knowledgePerform snow removal in winter monthsREQUIREMENTS2-5 years of experience working in a plant maintenance roleValid Boiler Ticket preferredPlumbing experience would be an assetGood understanding of the plant operationsMust be mechanically inclinedCOMPENSATION INFORMATIONThe expected salary range for this position is $26.00 - $28.00 per hour.
