Join our team today and use your exceptional sales and customer service skills to help end poverty and make our world a better place by turning a small change into a big difference!Key Areas of ResponsibilityFull knowledge and understanding of all our programs and servicesAbility to articulate the impact of a donor's gift and educate them on our different programs, events and servicesPractice and understanding of team Standards of Practice (SOP's) and following departmental policies and procedures thoroughlyFundraising through scripted campaign calls (120+ calls daily) during peak seasonsProcessing donations securely, ethically and confidentiallyResponding to both inbound and outbound inquiries with donors, including internal and external parties via phone calls, live chats, emails and text messages promptlyNavigating and updating various software and information systems related to donor managementReaching individual quotas/KPI's to meet fundraising targets and achieve department goalsProviding Administrative assistance and updating system data while providing support to other departments/teams as neededParticipate in ongoing training and workshops to improve your communication, skills, and knowledge about Penny Appeal's programs and activities.Qualifications & RequirementsMust be 18 years of age or older, eligible to work in Canada, and able to pass a criminal background check.A post-secondary education or completion of certification in a related field of study is requiredMature and experienced with at least 2-5 years of Call Center or similar experience, with the ability to process both inbound and outbound calls, including cold calls, 100+/daily scripted fundraising/welcome callsKnowledge of Islamic practices, such as Zakat,

These positions are home based anywhere in Canada, with competitive compensation and health benefits upon completion of the 3-month probation period.Hours/Shift OpportunitiesFull-time: 35 hours per weekPart-time: Approximately 20-25 hours per week9:00am - 5:30pm EST or 9:30am - 6:00pm EST (Mon-Fri + potential weekend shifts during busy season)Each shift is subject to change during various busy seasons such as Ramadan, Dhul Hijjah, etc.You'll be working the same schedule weekly. For full-time positions, this consists of an 8.5-hour work day minus a 1-hour lunch. Part-time hours will be adjusted based on the agreed-upon weekly schedule.Start date is early October.
