Overview

We are seeking a 309A licensed, skilled and dedicated Electrical Foreman to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems, with the ability to lead other journeypersons and apprentices on construction jobsites . This role requires a thorough understanding of schematics and blueprint reading, along with hands-on experience in commercial settings.

Duties

- be present on active job site to ensure timely production of projects
- be the first point of contact for customers, organize future jobs, order materials and organize and appoint staff for each project.
- be responsible for daily safety checks and reports, ensuring that all proper safety precautions are taken and PPE is worn in compliance with safety standards
- report directly to Project Manager
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of electrical systems.

- Follow up with and distribute shop drawings, spec sheets as required by our customers.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople and General Contractors to ensure seamless project execution.
- Attend Site and Virtual meetings on projects for the purpose of staying on schedule and address design issues and provide lead-times as required.





- Conduct inspections of electrical installations to ensure high-quality workmanship.
- Stay updated on industry trends, codes, and best practices to maintain high-quality workmanship.

Skills

- Proficient in data collection on sites and sourcing products and acquiring pricing from suppliers.
- Strong ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints.
- Knowledge of Installation & Maintenance to Low Voltage Service Equipment and Switchgear.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Robust communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and clients
- A valid G Drivers License for the province of Ontario
