In this role, the candidate will be responsible for the Air Freight functions and contributing to the development that align with the company’s mission and values.

REQUIREMENTS

- Two to four years air/ocean freight forwarding experience
- Effective communication skills and skilled communication etiquette
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Mandarin speaking is mandatory
- Valid IATA Dangerous Goods Certificate is a plus
- Knowledge of North American Carrier Network and cross-border shipping requirements an asset
- Experience with CargoWise is considered an asset

DETAILS OF THE JOB

- Daily management and coordination of ocean/air import and export shipments
- Prepare, handle, and process documentation- including house and master air waybills, commercial documents, and customs/regulatory documents.
- Partner with customers, vendors, and internal groups to build a solid working relationship
- Work with worldwide ocean shipments,



including all geographies and multiple customers across the world
- Provide excellence in customer service and a first place of contact for client inquiries, concerns and complaints. Special attention to key assigned accounts.
- Complete accurate monthly reports as requested by management and customers.
- Coordinate shipments, provide information and alerts for air export customers and support the sales department in negotiating rates and quotes for services.
- Maintain accurate filing system(s), update/input details of shipments in system and ensure accuracy for billing.
- Maintain compliance standards at all times- including internal policies and procedures, external government regulations, and customer requirements.
- Partner with global offices as needed
- Contribute to maintaining strong vendor relationships- airlines, trucking companies, and others

Job Type: Full-time Pay: $48,000
