We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Front Counter Attendant/Opening Prep to join our team! In this vital role, you will be the first point of contact for customers, providing exceptional service while efficiently managing food preparation and front counter operations. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help create a welcoming atmosphere, ensuring that every guest receives prompt and friendly service.

Monday to Friday - 9:30am - 4pm

Weekend 10am - 4pm

Duties

- Greet customers warmly as they arrive, providing friendly and efficient service at the front counter
- Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and safety standards, ensuring quality and presentation
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, accurately processing transactions and handling cash or card payments
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the front counter area, food prep stations, and equipment in compliance with food safety regulations
- Assist with opening duties such as setting up food stations, stocking supplies, and ensuring all areas are ready for service




- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without compromising quality

Experience

- Previous food service experience in a rapid-paced restaurant or food industry setting is preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS, is highly desirable
- Demonstrated ability in cash handling, cashiering, and basic math for accurate transactions
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Experience with food preparation tasks such as assembling sandwiches, salads, or similar items
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities
- Ability to manage time efficiently during peak hours while maintaining attention to detail
