Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist with their food orders in a timely manner
- Prepare and assemble certain food items according to established recipes and sanitation guidelines
- Operate POS systems such as Micros POS to process orders accurately and efficiently
- Handle cash transactions, including cash handling and making change with basic math skills
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, utensils, and dining areas in compliance with food safety standards
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service and customer satisfaction
Experience
- Previous food service experience or restaurant background preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and food handling procedures
- Experience operating POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms is advantageous
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and order calculations
- Knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation practices, and proper kitchen procedures
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
