Sadfish are looking for a 2D Storyboard Artist to help develop animated sequences for an upcoming 2D animated project. The artist will work closely with the Animation Director, exploring shots, compositions, character acting and movement, and helping translate historical moments into explicit and engaging animated sequences.ProjectThe project is a sports documentary consisting of approximately 12 minutes of animation, comprising 19 short interstitials. Animated segments will appear alongside archival material, recreating or complementing historical moments through short animated sequences.The characters are primarily professional athletes, so a strong understanding of anatomy, movement, physicality and sports action is important.The visual direction will combine realism and stylization, with expressive drawing, dynamic posing, strong compositions and a clear 2D artistic feel. The storyboards will need to effectively communicate action, emotion,
