Your work may include everything from routine maintenance and diagnostics to complex mechanical, hydraulic,



and electrical repairs.SUMMARY OF POSITION:Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issuesPerform maintenance and repairs on agricultural, construction, and heavy equipmentRepair equipment in the shop and perform road calls when requiredDiagnose and repair hydraulic systems, pumps, valves, and other componentsTroubleshoot electrical systems and equipment technologyRepair cooling and lubrication systemsRepair transmissions, drivetrains, final drives, and other mechanical componentsInstall, align, and service engines and major equipment componentsInstall new equipment, attachments, and additional componentsTest repaired equipment to ensure it is operating safely and performing properlyComplete work orders, timecards, and repair documentation accuratelyContinue developing your knowledge of new equipment, technology, diagnostic tools, and repair techniquesMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environmentFollow all workplace health and safety policies and proceduresWHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:You don't need to know everything, but you should enjoy the challenge of figuring things out. We're looking for someone who brings mechanical knowledge, a strong work ethic,



and a willingness to continue learning:A high school diploma or equivalentAgricultural Equipment Technician or Heavy Duty Equipment Technician certification is preferredPrevious experience working with agricultural, construction, heavy-duty, or off-road equipmentStrong mechanical knowledge, including experience with hydraulic and electrical systemsStrong diagnostic and problem-solving skillsThe ability to work independently and as part of a teamGood communication and time-management skillsA positive attitude and strong work ethicA valid Ontario G Driver's Licence with a clean driving abstractThe physical ability to lift up to 50 lbsThe ability to work indoors and outdoors as requiredA commitment to workplace safety and the use of required personal protective equipmentBUILD MORE THAN A JOB, BUILD A CAREEREquipment is changing.
