Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will support the dental team by providing exceptional patient care, assisting with procedures, and ensuring smooth clinic operations. Prior experience with dental software such as Tracker, as well as familiarity with Scanner Softwear Itero

Must be able to work 1 late night a week and 1 Saturday a month 8 to 12

Duties

- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments in compliance with safety standards
- Assist the dentist during various procedures, including orthodontic and pediatric treatments
- Take and develop dental radiographs
- Manage patient records accurately using Tracker software systems
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sterile workplace in the clinic
- Assist with inventory management of dental supplies and materials




- Ensure effective communication with patients regarding treatment plans and follow-up appointments

Skills

- Proficiency in dental assisting techniques with knowledge of medical terminology
- Experience working with dental software such as Tracker preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills to provide compassionate patient care and support diverse patient needs
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment, including supporting the role of a dental receptionist when needed
- Knowledge of infection control protocols and sterilization procedures

Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
