Full-Time Housekeeping Room Attendant

Staybridge Suites Aurora East is seeking a dependable, energetic, and detail-oriented Full-Time Housekeeping Room Attendant to join our housekeeping team.

The Room Attendant plays an important role in creating a clean, comfortable, and welcoming experience for our guests. This position is responsible for cleaning and maintaining guest rooms and supporting the housekeeping department in maintaining the hotel’s high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and service.

Responsibilities

- Clean and service guest rooms according to hotel and brand standards.
- Make beds, change linens, replace towels, and replenish guestroom amenities and supplies.
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize bathrooms, including toilets, showers, sinks, mirrors, and floors.
- Dust, vacuum, mop, and clean all areas of guest rooms.
- Inspect guest rooms to ensure they are clean, properly stocked, and ready for guest arrival.
- Report maintenance issues, damaged items, safety concerns, and room deficiencies to the appropriate department.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of housekeeping carts, closets, and supply areas.
- Properly handle and transport soiled linens and garbage.
- Follow proper procedures for lost and found items.
- Respond courteously and professionally to guest requests and inquiries.
- Maintain a high level of attention to detail while working efficiently to meet daily room assignments.
- Follow all hotel safety, sanitation, cleanliness, and brand standards.
- Work cooperatively with the housekeeping and front office teams to ensure guest rooms are ready on time.




- Assist with deep-cleaning projects and other housekeeping duties as assigned.
- Perform other duties as required to support the overall operation of the hotel.

Qualifications
- Previous hotel or housekeeping experience is an asset but not required.
- Must be dependable, punctual, energetic, and hardworking.
- Solid attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
- Able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, reach, lift, and perform physical work throughout the shift.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality and efficiency.
- Must be comfortable performing repetitive cleaning and physical tasks.
- Must be available to work weekdays, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Full-time availability is required.
- Positive attitude and willingness to support the housekeeping team.
