The Yukon

Environmental and Socio-economic Assessment Board (YESAB) is looking for a dedicated Assessment District Manager to support the Whitehorse Designated Office. This position requires managing assessments, fostering relationships with First Nations, and guiding staff operations. A comprehensive understanding of the Yukon Environmental Assessment Act is necessary to drive successful project outcomes. Key Responsibilities:

- Manage all assessment projects in the Whitehorse office
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders




- Ensure that participants grasp assessment review processes
- Guide and supervise the office's staff and operations
- Handle multiple projects and meeting deadlines Requirements:
- Previous supervisory and management experience required
- Knowledge of the Yukon Environmental Assessment Act
- Experience with First Nation governments is beneficial
- Relevant undergraduate degree or training in environmental fields preferred
