LEON'S CURRENTLY HIRING PART TIME FURNITURE TECHNICIAN

Leon’s is currently looking for a self-motivated hardworking Technician. The ideal candidates will have experience repairing furniture and upholstery, touching up wood products and be an all-around handy person.

Being a Furniture technician for Leon’s Furniture means you are often the final connection between the company and our valued customers. As an integral member of our team, you are responsible for providing professional, efficient repair service in the customer’s home, and working with other departments to ensure a positive overall customer experience. This collaborative approach to our business ensures a helpful, positive environment for all and maintains the overall standard of excellence that has made Leon’s the envy of our competitors for over a century.

Duties include

- Assessing product to determine repair requirement, touching up items that are in customer's homes, repairing damaged floor stock,



attend appointments and other duties that may include some moderate lifting.

Requirements
- High School diploma. Practical work experience in furniture repair, upholstery, leather, woodworking or finish. Demonstrated ability to safely operate various hand and power tools. Valuable verbal communication skills. Able to work independently and manage time effectively. Valid Driver’s license with clean driver’s abstract. Your own reliable vehicle, mileage will be paid.
- Training is available, but a working knowledge of basic repair is a must.
