Under the guidance of experienced mentors, you'll learn to operate CNC lathes, milling machines, and other machining tools while gaining a solid foundation in manufacturing processes. Our paid apprentice program will offer you the opportunity to hone your skills in problem solving, expand your knowledge in reading blueprints, diagrams, and provide hands on experience and training with the latest machines and software.

What you will learn:

- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and work-process documentation
- Cut, shape and finish metal to make precision machined parts and components
- Set up and operate both conventional and numerically controlled metal-cutting machines and equipment, including saws, drills, grinders, lathes and mills
- Perform work-in-process measuring using specialized and precision tools and equipment
- How to manufacture moulds and components
- Perform job duties with care and precision

Qualifications:

- OSSD plus related knowledge of the field and machinery
- Good math and technical ability
- Ability to work to close tolerances and attention to detail

Responsibilities:





- Attend and excel at ministries training for apprentices
- Follow and meet all in-house training requirements
- Achieve production objectives
- Maintain a high level of quality in all your work
- Support the maintenance of machinery through basic troubleshooting and cleaning procedures
- Follow safety protocols including proper use of personal protective equipment, and lean manufacturing principles
