VARIOUS ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work alongside Forklift Operators
- Checking / Weighing / Cubing on a busy Transportation dock
- Maintaining clean and orderly work space
- Assist with other general labour tasks as required
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: In this function, the employee is required to walk and/or stand and when needed lifting is required.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
The LTL cross-dock is quite noisy due to the ongoing movement of forklifts and the volume of tractor trailers that enter and exit the terminal. The weather conditions consist of cold days during the winter months and hot days during the summer months due to the dock doors being open quite frequently.
