Production Paint Stripping (PPS) is a leading provider of paint stripping and metal cleaning services, having serviced the automotive and aerospace industries of southern Ontario for 30 years. PPS operates paint stripping facilities in Ontario and the United States.

We are looking for hard working, driven individuals to join our team as a General Labourer. We are exclusively looking for individuals seeking to work Day Shift (7:00 am to 3:00 pm; Monday to Friday).

Primary Duties

- Adhere to PPS and the Canadian Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) standards.
- Adhere to PPS company policies as well as Canadian and Ontario employment legislation.
- Packing and loading automotive parts and tooling.
- Pressure washing customer parts.
- Stack & unstack materials.
- Arrive at work on time.
- Demonstrate a friendly and constructive attitude toward employees and customers.
- General housekeeping of work area.

Additional Responsibilities

- Manage inventory levels.
- Work as a team player to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Ability to follow directions as provided by supervisor.
- Report all issues to the supervisor immediately.
- Overhead Crane and Forklift Operation, as required once trained.
- Demonstrate a considerate, friendly, and constructive attitude toward fellow employees and the customer.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

- High School Diploma or equivalent, is preferred.
- Understanding of basic math calculations and solid attention to detail for inventory counts and order picking.
- Able to work safely and efficiently.
- Forklift license is a plus.
- Organizational skills.
- Professional oral and written interpersonal communications.
- Training will be provided.

Physical Requirements

- Ability to lift heavy packages (up to 50 pounds) as needed with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Ability to maintain a consistent workload that involves physical manual labor.
- Ability to maintain alertness and fitness for duty.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.




- Ability to position oneself for work conducted in and around confined spaces.
- Ability to wear as PPE as mandated.

Compensation

- Overtime, as applicable.
- Shift premium, as applicable.
