General Laborer – Erie Distribution

Pay: $17.95 per hour

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM

Additional Hours: Some Saturdays as needed

Position: General Laborer / Lumber Stacker

Job Summary

Erie Distribution is looking for dependable and hardworking General Laborers to join our team. This position involves stacking and handling lumber and performing general warehouse and yard duties. The ideal candidate is reliable, physically capable, and comfortable working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions.

Responsibilities

- Stack and organize lumber according to company standards
- Lift, carry, and move lumber and other materials weighing up to 30 lbs.
- Load and unload materials as needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and secure work area
- Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines
- Assist with general labor and warehouse/yard duties as assigned
- Work efficiently as part of a team
- Perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the workday

Qualifications & Requirements
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 lbs.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, reach,



and lift for extended periods
- Must be comfortable working outdoors and in various weather conditions
- Reliable attendance and punctuality are required
- Ability to follow instructions and work safely
- Previous warehouse, lumber, construction, or general labor experience is an asset but not required

Work Schedule
- Monday–Friday: 7:00 AM–3:00 PM
- Some Saturdays as needed
- Applicants must be willing to work additional Saturdays when required by business needs.

Work Environment This is a physically demanding position that requires working both indoors and outdoors. Employees should be prepared to work in changing weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and other outdoor elements.

Compensation

$17.95 per hour
