Macrodyne Technologies Inc. is a leading designer and manufacturer of large hydraulic presses, fully automated hydraulic press lines and related die handling equipment serving manufacturing companies in the automotive, aerospace, consumer, and industrial product sectors. We are currently searching for a General Labourer to work day shift as outlined below.

This position is suitable for an individual who is comfortable working in an industrial environment, preferably with experience working on or near heavy machinery.

Ideal candidates will be honest, cooperative, adaptive, autonomous, punctual, reliable, pay attention to detail, possess a problem solving attitude, be self-motivated, dynamic, analytical and ready to do what it takes to get the job done.

The ability to maintain composure in demanding production environments is a key attribute that is required.

SHIFT: Monday – Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm

Responsibilities:

- Maintains safe operations by adhering to all applicable safety procedures and regulations
- Cleaning/housekeeping of factory areas
- Handling & staging materials for assembly
- Cleaning/preparing machinery and related components for painting
- Painting of machinery and related components (by hand using brushes & rollers)
- Assisting with packaging and preparing items for shipment
- Assist with inventory control, live counts, etc.
- All other tasks assigned by the supervisor

Requirements:

- Experience working with tape measures, imperial and metric measurements
- Ability to work with hand tools
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Ability to drive forklift definite asset,
