About The Role Our Client's Langley litigation group is seeking a forward-thinking and results-driven Associate with relevant experience in general litigation, particularly commercial litigation .

The successful candidate will work directly with Partners who take an active role in mentoring and training lawyers. The Associate will also have the opportunity to manage their own files and develop their own practice with the support and resources of the firm.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage your own litigation files.
- Work directly with Partners on general and commercial litigation matters.
- Advise clients regarding litigation and disputes.
- Conduct legal research and prepare legal documents.
- Develop and advance litigation strategies.
- Represent and advocate for clients.
- Build and develop client relationships and your own practice.
- Work collaboratively with Partners, lawyers and legal support professionals.

Required Qualifications

- LLB/J.D. from an accredited law school.




- Member in good standing with the Law Society of British Columbia.
- Litigation experience, ideally with a focus on commercial litigation.
- Solid legal research, drafting and advocacy skills.
- Experience advising clients on litigation and disputes.
- Confident client communication and relationship-building skills.
- Strong work ethic.
- Client-service oriented and a team player.
- Excellent attention to detail.
