And it stands to reason that none of this would have been possible without the hundreds of hard-working employees who work at Confluence.More about the role & teamThis is a high-impact role within a lean team, sitting at the intersection of product, data, and engineering.Rather than a typical Business Analyst position, this role is hands-on — you'll work directly with data, shape how it flows through systems, and help deliver real, usable data solutions across the business.You'll partner closely with product and engineering teams to turn complex data needs into clear technical requirements, supporting the build of data feeds, pipelines, and transformations.At the same time, you'll manage multiple priorities, improve processes, and introduce automation to make data delivery more effective.This is a broad, fast-paced role with real ownership - giving you the opportunity to drive solutions end-to-end and influence how data is structured and delivered.Translate business and product requirements into clear technical data specifications for engineering teamsManage data ingestion and transformation workflows,



including external vendor data feeds and internal datasetsCollaborate with developers to deliver data pipelines, feeds, and transformationsMonitor and improve data quality, identifying anomalies and resolving issues across datasetsOwn small to mid-sized data projects end-to-end, balancing multiple requests and prioritiesIdentify opportunities to automate and optimize processes using Python or similar toolsPartner with stakeholders across product, engineering, and BI teams to ensure data solutions meet business needsPlease note: We are unable to sponsor visas or consider candidates requiring work permits at this time.What skills and experience do I need to succeed?Strong SQL expertise (non-negotiable)Ability to work effectively with data pipelines, schemas, feeds, APIs, and data warehousesProven ability to work independently with data and deliver solutions end-to-endExperience translating business requirements into clear technical specificationsStrong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholdersAbility to operate with high autonomy and manage multiple requests or projects simultaneously1-3 years' experience in a market data, data analytics, or financial data environmentPython for automation or process improvementExperience with modern data platforms (e.G., Snowflake)Familiarity with data ingestion, transformation,
