GLASS LINE ASSEMBLY

Preparation of Material

1. Cut glass and spacers to required size / shape as required
2. Etch and clean glass panes
3. Attach grills as requried
4. Smooth rough edges as required

Glass Design Assembly

1. Place glass and assembly components on appropriate table frame/jig
2. Layout glass and assembly components as per design
3. Insert lead beam trim between pieces
4. Solder trim
5. Assemble glass design
6. Clean assembled glass design

Glass Insert Assembly

1. 1. Ensure glass pane is cleaned
2. Place glass pane and frame onto cart
3. Clean and insert glass design or wrought iron into frame
4. Insert second frame and glass pane, place clamps to hold glass in place as required
5. Apply sealant to outside frame and allow to time to dry

Quality Control Inspections

1. Use measuring tape to ensure product meets customer/company requirements
2. Inspect product for proper surface finish / defects
3. Ensure product meets customer and company specifications
4. Advise Lead Hand of any quality issues / defects

Perform adjustments / repairs where required
