Looking for candidates with 2 years of groundsman/related experience in the industry. You will assist in many aspects of the job such as using and working with chainsaws, learning knots and techniques, and operating machinery such as brush chippers/stump grinders. You will be a vital aspect in the safety of the jobsite. We are looking for dedicated hardworking individuals who have a passion for trees, dedication to the work and motivation to excel.

Job Duties

· Assisting the climbing operations

· Setting up job sites

· Performing safety inspections

· Performing maintenance on a variety of chainsaws and equipment

· Operating a brush chipper

· Operating a chainsaw

· Learning and memorizing knots

· Dealing with clients in a qualified manner





· Working 8-10hr days in all weather conditions

Qualifications

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid BC driver’s license.
- Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs.
- Interest in working outdoors performing manual labor in all weather conditions.
- Prior tree care, landscaping, forestry, or horticulture experience is preferred.

Pay: $22.00-$27.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate

- Chilliwack, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
