This individual will comply with provincial and federal legislation, company and health and safety policies, and ISO quality program and procedures.Job Details:Full-time (regular rotational shift available)Total comprehensive benefit and pension packageEmployee Assistance ProgramSigning BonusRequired education, skills and abilities:Enrolled in OYAP and/or Completion of post secondary education OR Completion of secondary school and a four-year apprenticeship OR college diploma in a manufacturing field or a related disciplineProficient in computers with the ability to use various computer applications depending on skill level such as Microsoft Office, etc.Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, schematics, drawings, manuals and specificationsKnowledge of arithmetic,



geometry and their applicationsCapable of recognizing and solving problemsTime management skills with the ability to prioritize tasksAbility to adapt and welcome change in a positive mannerCapable of operating heavy equipment such as a forklift and craneResponsibilities:Prepare and follow company plans, blue-print designs, and complex work process diagramsBuild components using appropriate equipment such as metal cutting machines, saws, drills, grinders, lathes, mills, etc.Measure for quality control using precision tools and equipment to detect equipment malfunctions, out of tolerance parts, and other defects, reporting these to the supervisorFabricate new parts to replace defective parts during mold build, maintenance, or overhaulAttend customer service calls as neededGeneral housekeeping of working areaOther duties as assignedWage Range:$24-32/hour depending on experienceWe thank all applicants in advance for their interest; however, only those candidates selected for an interview will be contacted.
