and preparing all other aspects of renewalsComparing quote options for multiple carriers and presents coverage comparison as neededEnsuring renewals are completed 60 days in advanceReviewing policies to identify coverage gaps, makes recommendations based on clients' operations, exposures and needProducing pink cards and certificates of insurance, schedules, and claims reportingMaintaining appropriate and clear documentation in agency management systems including policy details, activities and attachments, spreadsheetsAssisting in negotiating renewal terms & developing growthClearly understanding how their actions can positively or negatively affect relationship with our customers, carriers, and coworkersParticipating in ongoing scheduled meetings with team to discuss accounts, renewals and day to day service needs and opportunitiesParticipating in seminars, classes, and webinars for skill and knowledge developmentsOther duties and responsibilities as assignedCOMPENTECIESHigh degree of professionalism and integrityCommitted to excellence in customer service and builds strong relationships with clientsSkilled user of the Microsoft Office Suite of productsDemonstrated accountability and reliability in the quality and timeliness of workFlexible and adaptable with proven problem-solving skillsWorks well within a team and independently and able to adjust to tight and changing deadlinesCritical thinker with strong attention to detailsQUALIFICATIONS2+ years of related and progressive experience in the insurance industry with a strong working knowledge of commercial insurance productsRIBO license requiredCIP or CAIB designation, or working towards is considered an assetExperience in an insurance brokerageExperience with insurance document management software is an assetCOMPENSATIONSalary Range: $60,000 - $75,000 CAD annuallyActual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as a candidate's relevant experience, knowledge, skills, location, and internal equity.VACANCY:This position is for an existing vacancy.USE OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCEOur recruitment process may be completed with video conference technology.Acera Insurance is the largest independent, employee-controlled brokerage in Canada.
