We are seeking a multi skilled equipment operator/ mechanic to join our small but ambitions team.

Harder Contracting is a landscape and environmental service company, delivering unique, logistically challenging and sometimes remote projects in Alberta.

Projects range from fire smart projects in the front ranges of the Rockies, to high end residential landscape projects on rual properties.

Duties

- Operate heavy equipment such as compact excavators, spider excavators, skidsteers, plow trucks to support our landscape and light forestry projects.
- Manual labor as required as part of landscaping operations. Shoveling, raking, some rough carpentry
- Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on equipment and trucks.
- Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques to repair or modify machinery.

Requirements





- Proven experience operating heavy machinery on landscape projects light forestry/ fire smart projects or snow removal operations.
- Mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive repair, welding, trailer electrical ect in sometimes adverse weather conditions.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while using hand tools, power tools, or specialized assembly equipment.
- Robust problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose mechanical or electrical issues accurately.
- Excellent communication and ability to work in a team environment

Pay: $25.00-$40.00 per hour
