As a trusted advisor, you'll provide comprehensive, tailored financial information that enables clients to make informed decisions with confidence.ResponsibilitiesWork closely with clients to assess their accounting systems and assist in delivering tailored capacity‐building initiativesAssist with reviewing client full‐cycle accounting practices to create a strategic plan for growth, capacity development, and financial literacySupport activities related to external financing, system implementations, and chart of accounts setupDeliver hands‐on training in accounting functions including assisting the client with audit preparationPrepare finance policies and process maps, prepare recommended amendments as requiredProvide training on general matters such as payroll, GST/PST,
and T4 filingFacilitate project updates to Management and LeadershipMaintain flexibility to travel, as necessarySkills And ExperienceA degree or diploma in Business Administration or AccountingCPA designation preferredMinimum 3 years of relevant experienceStrong knowledge of accounting principles and organizational financeExcellent communication and relationship‐building skillsExperience working with Indigenous communities is a strong assetMyRewards@MNPThe annual salary for this position is $68,000 to $90,000.
