Role Description

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee daily housekeeping operations and ensure guest rooms and common areas are maintained to high cleanliness and sanitation standards. The successful candidate will supervise housekeeping staff, assign duties, inspect completed work, and ensure rooms are ready on time.

Job Responsibilities

- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the housekeeping team.

- Assign guest rooms, common areas, and other cleaning duties to housekeeping staff.

- Inspect guest rooms and assigned areas to ensure cleanliness and presentation meet company standards.

- Ensure rooms are cleaned, inspected, and ready within required timelines.

- Monitor staff performance and provide guidance, training, and support as required.

- Ensure proper cleaning, sanitization, and health & safety procedures are followed.

- Coordinate linen, laundry, guest amenities, and housekeeping supply requirements.

- Monitor inventory levels and ensure cleaning supplies and equipment are properly used and stored.

- Report maintenance issues, damages, safety concerns, or other operational issues to management.





- Respond to guest requests and concerns related to housekeeping in a qualified and timely manner.

- Assist with housekeeping duties when operationally required.

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of hallways, storage rooms, service areas, and housekeeping workspaces.

- Assist with scheduling and allocation of housekeeping staff based on occupancy and operational requirements.

- Communicate housekeeping status and operational concerns with management and other departments.

- Ensure employees follow company policies, procedures, and established housekeeping standards.

- Perform other housekeeping and supervisory duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

- Minimum 3–5 years of housekeeping experience, preferably in a hotel or resort

- Previous supervisory or team lead experience preferred.

- Strong knowledge of cleaning and sanitation standards.

- Good leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

- Strong attention to detail and time-management skills.

- Physically able to perform housekeeping duties.

- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
